Public Service Announcements (PSAs) should be viewed as free advertising for the Infant Adoption Awareness Training Program and a critical tool in building general public awareness. Our goal is for our PSAs to be used by radio and television stations, newspapers, magazines, and other media outlets around the nation.
Television, radio, and print PSAs are the cornerstone of the "Thanks for considering adoption" public awareness campaign. The announcements have been carefully scripted, designed, and beautifully produced to assure that they will deliver our important message.
We have distributed media kits to more than 7,000 broadcast and print outlets across the country. But no matter how well conceived and executed, the PSA campaign will not be effective unless it reaches its intended audiences. It is crucial to the success of the campaign to get the messages aired and printed. You can play a key role in making this happen by contacting their local media professionals and personally asking them to run the PSAs. Individuals and organizations supporting the Infant Adoption Awareness Training Program can support the campaign by writing letters or meeting with public service directors to urge free placement of the ads.
PSAs are generally sent to the media's public service director. He or she evaluates them and makes the decision about their use. The Infant Adoption Awareness Training Program will have a far greater chance of placing the ads if local representatives meet with the media outlets' public affairs or advertising directors, rather than just mailing the PSAs off to them.
Personal contact is critical.

What trainees are saying ...
I was a bit hesitant about a two-day training before attendace. However, the days were filled with information, sharing and interaction, and I was never disappointed during the entire training.
